Rice Squares – JD’s Newest Offering

I’ve read about Jorp saying something about rice squares in his blog Flavours of Iloilo and I told myself to try these also. It was worth the wait even though there’s a long queue at the counter. Actually, I’ve waited for only 15 minutes and the good thing was they served it hot. The taste was really good and it is very affordable. I tried Mixed Beef Japanese Fried Rice which has squid rings and minced beef, topped with fried egg done sunny side up. One order is good for two and is really more than enough for one person unless you eat a lot. They have three choices: Spanish Sausage and Chicken Rice, Thai Pineapple Glazed Chicken Fried Rice Square, and Mixed Beef Japanese Fried Rice. All at P69.00 only. Rice Squares can also be ordered for take outs at JD Bakery Café, Road House, General Luna St., Iloilo City.
